In a past life I owned and operated a recording studio in Chicago, which also gave me the chance to tour around the country and make music with my friends. I loved old gear like tape machines, vintage consoles, and ribbon mics. Getting a really good band in the studio and nailing a live recording was my happy place.
Everything I learned about collaboration I learned through music, and I take those lessons with me everywhere.
