My music career included writing, producing, and touring with a broad spectrum of artists and eventually culminated with me owning and operating a studio in Chicago.

My focus was on marrying the organic sound and feelings of classic analogue gear (tape machines, tube microphones, recording consoles) with the convenience and flexibility of digital gear. I often would play instruments on the artists' tracks I was engineering and producing.

I especially loved getting a great band together and recording them live to the tape machine. I obsessed over making artists feel as comfortable as possible in my space and giving them an environment to do their best work.
